A Month On: Lingiari reels after Jordology death
Post Body

The residents of Lingiari continue to mourn the tragic death of firebrand MP Jordology.

In Darwin today, a large group of mourners gathered in a public park, where they ritually wailed for hours.

"We call him Father Jordy," a mourner said, "and we believe he is still looking out for us."

The group, an eclectic mix of small business owners and dyed-hair hippies, formed due to the "suspicious circumstances" of Jordology's death. And yes, to be clear, they accuse the Prime Minister of orchestrating it... now I can't say one way or another but. Well. They're saying it. Not me! So who can really say if that's a credible claim or not. All we can say is, well, they say the Prime Minister did it.

"For sure that fucken Youmaton had him killed. She had him killed because he was willing to stand up to her and fight for what's right. he was a real fighter."

That's a quote from Shrunks Snuffles, a local with the most dishevelled face you've ever seen. But there is passion in his words and, perhaps, a kernel of truth...

In conclusion, the death of Jordology is a complicated issue. And who can say where the truth lies when things are so complex? All I can say is this: they think maybe the PM had something to do with it.
