The Events Team has decided that, effective immediately, the arrest warrant of TheGoatBoy2 and the R v TheGoatBoy2 case is decanonised. While, speaking purely in legal terms, in real life, attempting to dance on the High Court roof and to bring a dance floor into the High Court may be grounds for an arrest warrant, crucially, this is not real life. These actions are obviously being done in a tongue-in-cheek and jokey way to get across a serious point. It is almost certain that the member in question meant no harm with these actions, and punishing them with an arrest warrant is ridiculous.

As for why this event wasn’t decanonised earlier? Because it didn’t need to be. TheGoatBoy2 was not doing anything wrong here. It was an entirely peaceful protest, and while you may disagree with his reasons for holding that protest, those reasons are perfectly legitimate. There is no need for an arrest warrant or for a lengthy court case to take place here. In future, any protest activity is taking place outside the high court, and not inside it or on top of it.
