Okay, folks, listen up! I'm gonna explain to you this policy for an AustraliaSim Council. Now, this council will be made up of members who are elected at the start of each term. You got one guy from moderation, one guy from the election team, one guy from the parliament team, one guy from the actual parliament, and three community representatives. These community representatives are elected via STV in community vote, which is very democratic, very beautiful.
Now, this council elects one chair, and let me tell you, this person has a big job. The council may elect someone from outside the council to be the chair, but this person won't get any voting rights. Sad!
So, what does this council do, you ask? Well, they're gonna be a forum where they consider and vote on some important things like meta reforms, meta appeals, and other general day-to-day sim decisions. And you know what, folks? Their first job is overseeing the meta constitutional reform. This is big league stuff!
So, there you have it, folks. The AustraliaSim Council will do some important work here. They got a great team, they got a great chair, and they're gonna make AustraliaSim great again!
This body will first oversee the meta and election reforms we all want to see (they would consult the wider community on these things, not just consider in an echo chamber). After that they can stick around as an advisory body and general place for the community to discuss things.
