Order, order. I have received the following Motion from the Member for Cunningham:

I move the following motion:

1. That the House recognises the imminent danger that climate change brings to Australia

2. That the House acknowledges that human actions have lead to the rapid increase of carbon emissions worldwide, and the increase of worldwide temperature

3. That the House urge the government to take immediate action on reducing Australia’s carbon footprint, and a quick transition to renewable power

4. That the House commits to pursuing proper action on climate, and condemns those who seek to deny this clear science

5. That the House calls upon all nations, states and territories to put aside their differences and work together to tackle the existential threat that is climate change

6. That the House declares climate change as a national emergency

This Motion shall require a seconder.
