stopping by for an interview with the Today show on the Nine Network, imnofox struggled to keep his eyes open

“So what do you think will be the outcome of the election? You’ve had an interesting term in the opposition- where to next?” asks Deborah.

“Well, ya know, I think- ahhhhhh, you know… there’s been a lot happening and- yawns- I don’t think I can make too much of a, um- what’s the word? like when you foresee something?” says imnofox, attempting to keep his eyes open.

“A prediction?” suggests Georgie.

“Ah, yeah, a prediction. It’s a, I don’t think I can make too much of a prediction at this, ah, stage.” says imnofox, stumbling through each word.

“Do you think you’ll be re-elected?” asks Georgie.

“Well, ah” starts imnofox.

“Oh dear, he’s fallen asleep.” notes Deborah.

“Campaigning 24/7 must have caught up with him.” jokes Georgie.

“Well, there we have it, Social Democratic Senator for Tasmania, imnofox, striving for his re-election tomorrow.” whispers Deborah, trying not to wake the sleeping Senator.
