/u/silicon_based_life holds campaign event in Brisbane to mark the beginning of his election campaign road trip for Centre Alliance. He stands outside his car, a hybrid model, to give a speech.

"Before I embark on my grand campaign tour, allow me to finish with a few more of Centre Alliance's policy positions that I have placed my full weight behind this election. Now, as you will all know, the CA-supported government this last term passed a successful and balanced budget, albeit with some flaws. The major one for me was the size of the surplus - if we are able to have so much spending potential as a government, why don't we use it? It is my hope that the Centre Alliance policy of funding research into renewable energy and increasing rural finding and access can go a long way to providing a home for these funds.
