after half a term in the senate, successfully and fruitfully representing the part of Australia furthest away from the rest, imnofox felt it right to once again head out to thank the many beautiful and clearly well-educated voters that elected him

“I’ve come today, to stand in front- oh Judith, you can stop cheering now- in front of you all today, after half a term in the senate, successfully and fruitfully representing this part of Australia- thank you Jacqui- this part of Australia furthest away from the rest. And I just wanted to say thank you- thank you Judith, yes- thank you all for electing me to serve in what is often the thankless but important job of Senator for the last half-term. I wanted to thank you all- no, really- I want to thank you all so much, from the bottom of- seriously Judith, I mean it- from the bottom of my very very big heart- I mean, my heart is so deep there’s probably a few Thai kids lost in it- so from the bottom of my heart I want to say thank you- yes, to you too Mr. Carter- for allowing me to serve you and to give thanks to you for thanking me for the hard thankless work I do to serve this state.”

“And if you re-elect me- I know, Judith- I’ll be sure to be very thankful, and I promise- I promise I will deliver a lot of good change for Tasmania that you will no doubt thank me for delivering upon. So thank you for coming here today to hear me thank you all- yes, all of you, even you Mr. Chrome- for electing me accidentally a term ago.”
