Why won't AusPost ever leave parcels at my door!?!?!?

I literally always request for parcels to be left at my door but they never do. I work night shifts and long hours and when they do this it forces me to rush and take time off work to go to the post office to retrieve my parcel before they send it back. I've actually lost a few parcels now because they have taken it back and not informed me until the day of them sending it back to the shipper! Not bloody happy Jan, why can't they just leave it at my door like I asked?
