This cold front is producing significant rain in the hill country. Totals so far:
2.98” lampasas 2.08” Richland springs 1.53” Buchanan dam
Totals near Austin aren’t as impressive: 1.37” pflugerville 1.25” jollyville 1.15” bull creek
The San saba river went from 1cfs (a trickle) to 320cfs (raging class 5 rapids) within 3 hours. This is starting to make its way into the Colorado river but will only increase lake Buchanan. Still, it’s a start.
