Hey y’all - Austin is a hot hot place and it’s hard to see people at intersections asking for some kind of help and ignore them. I’ve come to simply carry a 24-pk of bottled water in my car and hand out a bottle of water or two if I find myself within arms length of a person asking for some assistance. These 24-pack waters cost less than $4 so thats >$0.20 per bottle. It isn’t much - but it’s something that can immediately or later bring at least some measure of comfort and relief.
I’m merely passing along the idea just as it was given me a couple years ago. 💙
