Summer of 2022 came in like a lion, out like a lamb

It looks like 2011 will still be the hottest ever summer. The pattern has changed. We may see 2-3 more 100 degree days maybe in September but this storm just delivered a KO punch to 2022 summer putting it on a lower level than 2011.
Yes it will be hot again, yes it will be sunny but I don’t think it will reach above 102 again. It still may be above 90 well into October. But I’m talking 2011 style heat.
