Haven’t had internet for about 36 hours now. The only place I’ve seen Spectrum even post about there being an outage in Austin is on their billing/payment login.
If you check on their outage map or their automated system it says there’s no outage, but no one in my neighborhood has had internet and most people I know personally using regular [not fiber] Spectrum have either had no internet or garbage quality. Their Support chat and call wait times last night were close to 2 hours.
I’m ‘in line’ today again with an eta of 45 mins, supposedly. Third party ISP outage tracking maps show massive Spectrum outages across the US, some commenters saying they haven’t had access/Spectrum has been down for 4 days.
Any other outagers out there having the same issues?
Edit: Spoke to spectrum finally, they’re maintaining that their outages are ‘intermittent’ and having ‘random issues’ across Austin still but because it’s been off/on for a lot of people they’re not marking them as ‘full’ outages. So if you’re having issues, you should contact them to I guess take it more seriously/keep it marked as outages?
Edit 2: They had to send a tech out to the neighborhood [Im in Jollyville-ish] still no internet, 60ish hours now. They’re working on it I guess
Edit 3: My first award! Thank you stranger
