These horrid conditions of highs near 100 and humid dew points in the upper 70’s is coming to an end. The dew point has been lowering from 79 over the weekend to around 72 right now. That’s still very humid but weather models indicate that we will be seeing these dewpoints lowering which will dry things out nicely. Also the nightly lows, instead of 82 like we saw will be around low 70’s. However with dry heat this means the highs may be 105-108 over 4th of July weekend.
I think we will all take the dry heat over this oppressive humidity. It will at least mean the mornings and nights will be more comfortable.
