Walnut Creek storm surge - be careful
Post Body

The rain is “training” right now, ie it is like a train that keeps rolling over the same rail. It happens to be training in the 183 area from mopac to McNeil to Parmer.

Walnut Creek has increased from 0 cfs (No flow) earlier today to 11,400 cfs. This is whitewater class 5 rapid conditions.

That surge is heading down to the Colorado river near Ed bluestem blvd.

Unfortunately hardly any rain fell in the watersheds west of lake Travis so the lakes will still be low. However, if the arbuckle reservoir would’ve been finished by now they could’ve captured this water downstream. Another missed opportunity.
