Setting up a range at home
Post Body

I am considering setting up a bit of a range (50mtr, 100mtr, 200mtr) but before I start talking with FARNSW, I thought I would post here to ask for your experiences and thoughts before I moved on.The only place with hills behind it, and no roads or public access is to the left of the blue marker and north (towards the top of the pic) as there is 75mtr'ish high hill directly behind on the next paddock. I have used a 22lr and a .223 all over the farm and have always considered where, who, and what was behind if I missed or went through, although these have been a couple of shots, and at ducks, cats, dogs and an occasional injured beas, but am now considering a more permanent set up which will obviously have more attention as more shots are taken.

Few points of interest, is the Pacific HWY not 50mtrs away, but running parallel to where I would like to set it up, and... another much more rural road, with 100mtrs of elevation and maybe 400mtrs away also running parallel on the other side.

30 acres, zoned rural if that helps

range / rye paddock
