G’day lads!
Crikey it’s hot out here! The Bibbulmun Track sure is beautiful this time of year though. It is a testament to the beautiful terrain we are surrounded by here in Australia and the beautiful diversity we can get. It’s important that all of us understand the beauty and what's more that we appreciate how lucky we are to enjoy this natural environment.
We will introduce a container deposit scheme nationwide which has already been successfully trialed on a state level. This will drastically cut down on both littering and general wastage allowing us to enjoy our natural areas without the interruption of litter which can blemish these lovely areas.
We also explore the creation of new national parks and trails as well as support for those already established like this fantastic track I am here talking to you lovely people on. We are really privileged in the Commonwealth to be able to access our nature so readily and where possible we should not be afraid to enhance this.
We are also going to tackle green energy head on. We are going to phase out coal fired power plants to end their poisonous smog while simultaneously providing retraining schemes to ensure we do not suffer hysteresis to our economy. On top of that we will end the ridiculous ban on Nuclear energy and invest in an industry which could very well thrive in Australia providing both clean energy and investment in our communities.
We are going to look at simplifying our finances, cutting down on paper waste and time spent online managing them again benefiting the environment immensely. This will be part of our wider plan to give a fairer economic deal which sees a return to fair taxation and sensible budget policies, ending borrowing to cover day to day spending.
Not only are we delivering a green thumbed environment, we are doing it in an effective and pragmatic way which helps our economy and provides a variety of jobs both directly and indirectly. We are working for the environment, the economy and the Commonwealth. Most importantly we are working for you. Remember that and vote chi, for better.
