Good evening everyone!
What a pleasure it is to be here today! It’s not often I get to canvas such a lovely group of people. As the Commonwealth Senate Candidate for ACT. I am really excited to be here talking to you guys about what we, the Commonwealth Party, can do for all of you.
We’re a breath of fresh air on the politics scene, not the same old stale Liberals or the collapsing Green Party but a brand new political force dedicated to delivering what’s best for Australians across the country.
First and foremost we are going to fix our finances, starting with the budget. We are going to work towards a budget surplus, ending the deficit needed to cover day-day spending. We’re going to rollback the unnecessary nationalisation that occurred last term such as the QANTAS nationalisation. On top of that we’re going to reform the tax code to simplify it and make it clearer for all of us to understand.
Secondly we are going to embrace a proper foreign policy. We are brazen in support of a CANZUK agreement which would not only benefit our commonwealth but the global commonwealth too. Keeping our links to the Commonwealth we are going to increase our Foreign aid support to the micronations of the pacific which often find themselves battling poverty. An AUKUS deal on Submarines in order to expand our fleet is certainly necessary in order to combat the increasing aggression from China.
We are avidly green fingered. In order to realise the green potential we will undo the ban on Nuclear power, kickstarting a brand new industry which could and will employ thousands and thousands across Australia as well as contributing billions to the economy - not to mention its green energy. We will also begin to phase out coal fired power plants to end the black stain and introduce a transitional scheme to move workers into a renewable energy sector, ensuring their jobs are secure.
That is just a brief glimpse at some of the policies we will be delivering on should you vote for Chi.
