Former Senator for NSW and passionate ruralist TheAudibleAsh, has made another shot at politics, in a bid to take back his old seat in the senate, to assist the incumbent AussieConservative government in its goal to obtain a majority in the senate. He joins Griffo in the country music capital of Australia, Tamworth, for the official announcement of his candidature, outside the local war memorial. Ash was also joined by members of the press that have broadcasted his message to the wider community.

As we head into the next election with a united team of high profile members, one stands out amongst the rest - that man is your former Senator and representative TheAudibleAsh and I welcome him to launch his Senate campaign to return to our parliamentary corridors!.

ASH STEPS UP TO THE LECTERN
ASH: “Thank you Griffo, you’ve been a great Prime Minister and Treasurer for this past term, and I would love to see this success of a government continue under your unifying leadership. Well now Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to announce my candidacy for Senate as a Senator for NSW. Now I know that I have resigned from this position recently, but that was largely due to family issues that have since been solved for the most part. I have certainly missed representing this community, and I wish to represent you again as your local and passionate Senator. The real reason why I rejoined politics, isn’t to do with sheer ambition like many other politicians, but it is to face a significant challenge to the Australian people, the Social Democratic Party and their self indulgent and reckless policies and views. Throughout my brief hiatus to politics, many local residents have voiced their concerns about their businesses and the welfare of their families towards me, and I plan to stand up for those people affected. The SDP do not care about their rural constituents in electorates like Capricornia, and have introduced no policy agenda in regards to benefit them. It just isn’t right, they are only in for themselves and their inner city interests. They are also the party of tax, introducing exorbitant income tax rates for businesses and many hard working Australians, they have been hesitant to revert our initiatives of economic recovery and they are instead planning to place many jobs and businesses at risk. Instead our plan is to continue from the last term and continue to recover after this deadly pandemic, providing many jobs to communities and overall more opportunities and I have more policies to announce in the campaign ahead. The LNP are the party for the everyday Australian, and we hope that you elect us for another term of proactive and competent government. Thank you all.
