G'day people of Perth, thanks for coming, please make yourself comfortable. This speech I would like to focus on Health and Education and why the people of Swan should elect my friend Anacornda.

Let's start with Education, on top of the basics that a government must do to invest into the Education System to bring in new Teachers, Schools and reforming the System to make it fit for purpose in the modern world. We must also look at ways where we can reduce Cost of Living Pressures on Families that also sets up their kids for a better Education and outcome of life, this is why an SDP Government will make Education across the board Free and Universal, along with forgiving all Student Debt so that they aren't burdened by needless financial constraints, along with this a new SDP Government will work to reform Education, for Primary and Secondary Education, we will implement Comprehensive Sex and Consent Education, considering the raise in gender based violence, what this will do is educate our students about Gender, the opposite sex and how to go about consent properly, this will mean a more healthy understanding of gender and protects our Kids from Abuse no matter what kind of abuse by providing them with the tools to identify the dangers and red flags of abuse, thus they have the agency to protect themselves and escape such situations. For Higher Education, we will begin a project of reversing the Commodification of Knowledge and the Corportisation of our Higher Learning Institutions. What this in our manifesto means is that we recognise that there is a Crisis of of the decline of Academic Rigor in our Peer Reviewed studies, Publishers being so concerned with making a profit that they force our Academics to publish as many articles as possible, this is causing a terrible feed back loop, as the Universities becoming more concerned for Profit also feeding into this issue, which is why the SDP will reform it to bring back Academic standards and remove Profit as a Motivator when it comes to our Public Institutions and build a regulatory framework that makes existing and emerging Knowledge free for the Public to Access, use, share and benefit from. Of course, this will also mean reforming our Intellectual and Copyright Laws to their original purpose, which has since been lost overtime.

Now, onto Health, while it isn't mentioned in our Manifesto, we know one for sure way of delivering Cost of Living Relief for Students and that is paid placement, this will specially help for new up and coming Nurses and other medical students who are vital for our national health, especially in a Post-Covid World. That is why we believe that all Labour must be paid Labour, you shouldn't be driven to poverty simply because you are a student and that is why a SDP Government is needed to reform our health system so that it is stronger then before. That is why an SDP Government is vital, because we believe in a better Australia that looks after our sick and ill, we don't believe Profit should come before Human Life and that is the Humanist Principle that our Party is centered around. Which is also way we pledge to that any Hospitals or other health services we invest in will be publicly owned, funded and operated. Because we believe a Public and Universal health system benefits everyone in society and we fully against the Privatisation of our Health System, unlike the Opposition, whose Manifesto waffles and talks about vague promises, small government and non-intervention, what the means is big business screwing over the average working Australian and the government sitting back and letting it happen, the SDP is against this, we believe the Government should work to protect Australians from Predatory Practices, and abuses from big business.

Which is also why I believe the people of Swan should elect Anacornda, he is the man for the job when it comes to representing the Interests of the people of Western Australia and has always been a staunch advocate within the Party. He is deeply in touch with the issues of WA especially when it comes to your transport needs, having him be elected will mean securing funding for METRONET Projects, investments into intercity Railways and to top it all off, Interstate High Speed Rail! which means more infrastructure, long term growth and sustainable, high paying jobs for the state of WA, that is why everyone should vote for Anacornda as their Member of parliament and why another SDP Government is needed, to continue vital investments and reform!
