The Attorney-General, Model-Forza is welcomed back to the city of his birthplace today as he spoke this morning at the Duck Pond Lawn at the University of Wollongong. He announced his intention to run for the seat of Cunningham so it could finally be put first!

This is an opportunity I couldn’t pass up, to have the opportunity to represent the electorate of my birth, my upbringing and my university education. Most of my life was spend in these streets and now I hope to make those streets a better place for all.

In some ways we’re almost there too, soon whether you choose to have a schooner at Dicey Rileys on Crown Street, North Gong on Flinders St or perhaps even the Unibar here on campus – your bevs will become much more affordable.

This isn’t just pubs, this is wine producers, breweries and the like. Anyone making an alcoholic beverage will be free of excessive excise. Whether you’re into your beers, you prefer whisky or you’re impartial for a white wine – I’ve got you!

Whether you’re from Helensburgh, Warrawong or anywhere around – I’ve got you!

Whether you were born in this country or abroad, whether you’re indigenous to our shores or not – I’ve got you!
