Sagging cornice and morter underneath repair ideas. Suggestions welcone
Post Body

Interested in hearing ideas on how I should go about repairing the mortor that has fallen away between the cornice and brick.

Thus has happened because of the sagging cornice, which I have fixed using timbers up in the ceiling space.

I was thinking installing a slim piece of either corner dowel of skirting underneath the ceiling cornice and anchor that piece to the brick work to hold it. And pour either thick mortor or drop plaster from up top behind the cornice. I heard that filling up the cornice from inside your roof space is a good idea. Thought. Or other suggestions welcome
