Hello All,
im after some advice, i want to prevent the soil from neighbour garden from pushing against and distorting the iron on my carport. I will be concreting the floor evntually however not imediately.
There is approx 20 cm between the fence and carport, how can i prevent the soil from damaging the carport.
One sollution i thought of is securing 150mm C chanel on outer side of carport, placing builders plastic between soil and C Chanel to prevent rust. iI thought once i have the chanel in place ,to fill remaining space with soil / gravel this would make the soil stable and prevent movemnt.
Im interested if anyone else has dealt with simila.or has a better way to fix the issue.
