Post Body

Hey all, first time poster. I'm looking at getting my bathroom redone and updated from the 70's. The size is 4.5x5.5 with regular ceiling height. I'm looking at redoing all the tiling to the biggest tiles I can find floor to ceiling with a new shower screen, bathtub, sink etc. Im thinking of giving all the work but waterproofing, a go. How much have y'all saved by doing what you can yourself vs getting someone to complete the whole job, what would you say would be a rough cost to redo a bathroom these days?

Would rather pay my waterproofer 700-800 and have him provide a certificate covering it should anything go wrong.

It’s a small price to pay for piece of mind
