IXL - style bathroom light, one heat lamp melted its socket.
Post Body

For lack of a better term, I have an IXL - style bathroom light with 4 lamps. It had two switches for the heat lamps, one for the centre light and one for the fan. Earlier in the week, one of the heater lights blew and seems to have killed off switching to the other heat lights and the centre light. The fan is still working. The heat light which blew appears to have melted its socket. Rather than cheap it out by replacing just the single socket, I'm thinking of replacing the entire unit.

In terms of what is on the market today, is there a brand and model which uses ceramic holders for the heat lamps?
