I am gay and all I have ever wanted was to have a family and a home. I had a very bad childhood and have worked hard to break the cycle. I can’t be approved for surrogacy until I have a home (stable living situation is a requirement for approval). They can also deny surrogacy if the home is not up to standard (like with fostering).

My dream area would be montville/maleny/mapleton area. I am wanting a place on sunny coast or somewhere with rainforest/tree vibes. But it also can’t be middle of nowhere because then I won’t have work. I just cannot find anything reasonable home wise to buy.

Wondering if my approved home loan amount is normal or I should seek another opinion. Also wondering if anyone has ideas of where to buy.

• 40m, single. 160k savings. 140k a year salary ($1750p/week). $400 p/week expenses. No debt of any type.
