Pre settlement inspection issues

Hi guys I’m recently in the process of buying an apartment and conducted a pre settlement inspection. The oven isn’t working properly and the stove appears to need replacing both of which were fine during the time of initial inspection. With settlement coming up soon can I legally ask for a reduction in sale price or to be compensated in order to make the repairs ?
