EDIT: Found souce of leak. Roofing contractors are coming out next week to fix/replace plasterboard Went up in the roof. It's just a cracked tile https://imgur.com/zs1grSf.jpg https://imgur.com/zliemfd.jpg

So last night after the heavy rain at about 12am I was about to get into bed, when j noticed that the floor had about half a cups worth or water drops on my wood floor...

I thought wtf how did water get inside the house? I look up to see and I see the a ring of 3cm of so worth of wet plasterboard and the downlight has water coming through it... So I put a bucket/towel underneath. It hasn't leaked since last night.

So I'm going to call the builder and tell them what's happened. Hopefully it's not all that bad. I'm going to go up in the roof and check myself for good measure.

Time to add this to the list of things I regret about buying a new home.
