Found a mouse in the living room

Hi guys I’m currently living in a shared house of 5 right now and I’ve just saw a mouse running away I’m currently renting privately so I have not signed anything just paying when the rent is due etc. I’m just a bit confused as it is my first time living in a flat or rental I’ll message the landlord right away but is there anything else I should do? Anyone got past experience with this thanks!
