Greetings legal beagles,

I'm wondering about Aus consumer law. If a product does not have a warranty, is there a timeframe to replace/repair/refund the product if part of it breaks. For example, if I purchase an aquarium and the pump breaks after 3 months, is the retailer responsible for providing a replacement. What about after 1 year? Is the retailer entitled to refuse replacement/repair/refund after a certain amount of time.

Thanks for your help.
