Not sure if this is the right subreddit, but I guess it’s in VIC, so laws may be most relevant
So, my friend met a girl from a dating app, and they dated for 3 months. She was a proper headcase, he recognised it, and then ended the relationship, and she returned almost all of his possessions
Since then, she has denied keeping his 24k tiger chain that was gifted from his grandmother. Just recently she posted a TikTok with it in plain sight after unblocking him on everything (it’s been like 6 months)
He tried calling to have an amicable discussion about it, but she let it ring out.
I told him to liaise with legalaid for small claims Enquiry, as she’s on a student international visa from Cambodia. I suspect police won’t want to know about it, as it’s technically domestic related.
It was acquired by her, as he did not have time to pack his possessions when he was kicked out for the 18th and final time
What options does he have?
