Confused speeding fine in Vic

Post Body

So I got caught speeding in a rural highway. It was 110k/h and I was doing 133k/h so that’s 23k/h over the limit. My understanding was I’d cop demerit points, and a fine but the highway cop told me it was a straight loss of license and a fine Everywhere I look, it’s a loss of license over 25k/h It’s passed the date of when the suspension is supposed to have come into effect but vicroads still has my license status as current and I’ve gotten no other information about losing my license

Do I keep driving because my understanding is, the cop provided wrong info so I still have a current license ?
