Liability of repairing light fixture (renting)

Post Body

Just trying to get ahead of the curve, thanks in advance.

I (tenant) emailed my Property Manager two months ago to get a light (not a bulb - see pic. https://imgur.com/a/6f5mLtp) in my bedroom fixed.

After several follow ups and no action taken from their end, I tried to screw off the light fixture and I ended up shattering it.

Property Manager the next day finally arranged for electrician to come around and inspect, but took no action since the situation changed from a broken light to an entire ceiling light unit needing to be replaced.

Just want to understand where I stand in terms of liability as the led circuitry inside was broken regardless.

Any help appreciated.
