Post Body

Hi all. A deceased friends son has got himself in bit of a pickle and has clocked up a few stealing charges. He is 19, his mother is an addict and his father passed away 6 years ago. He’s been couch surfing all this time. He has been living in a dysfunctional household where his food and meager possessions are stolen. He was stealing items to sell so he could buy food. He has no one to turn to and no one to help him so I’ve taken that role on for him. He fronted court on the Friday just gone and it appears he has been remanded in custody. My questions are… • can he be bailed from remand? • how do I become involved? ie to act on his behalf when needed as his only relatives are all caught up in the drug scene. • his next appearance isn’t until end of Feb 2024 and he’s never really experienced a Christmas with gifts etc so I’d really like that to happen for him Im a 75 year old pensioner just wanting to help regardless of how hard it might be as this kid needs a break. Thanks for reading
