I’ve been in and out of mental health for more than a decade. Would a human rights lawyer be appropriate to put on a retainer or something to help defend my human rights as an ex patient? Is it worth it you reckon? The people that support me for some reason seem to want to wait to I recover or dead before they care to get compensation. Meanwhile although compensation could help, I don’t see it helping me get my years of medical torment to just, go away. I guess I’d need a lawyer to get the privilege of knowing what my meds actually are made of, that there is no funny business going on. Could I handle it? Probably not at this time honestly. But I would like to know more about how I can recover and if legal is something that is even needed?
