I want to pursue a career in HR but have little experience. I'm thinking about getting some experience by being a recruitment consultant. Is this a good idea?
Post Body

I heard/read/experienced some terrible things about recruitment agencies but I'm getting sick of my current job and really want to move into the HR industry.

I thought process is, be a recruiter for like a year, tough it out and then move to like an internal recruiter or HR generalist or something.

Can I get some insights? If I'm going about this the right way? Or should I just keep applying for junior/entry HR gigs?

Thanks
