Has anyone had experience with the Vanguards Kids Investment account options? My daughter is 2 years old and her grandparents transfer her $100 per month. Wanting to make the most of this opportunity for her, Iād like to invest her money but keep it seperate to my own accounts.
Vanguards Kids looks like a good option, I assume High Growth would be the best bet given time is on her side. Love to hear from others.
Glorified super accounts.
Investing money is a great idea but given the age it may be a difficult decision later on. The other question (and no FA is being provided) how much will the grandparents provide as a start.
Looking at the site and investigating, the fund requires a minimum starting amount of $500 or some special arrangement to put $200 as a starting balance.
If nanny and poppy are going to put funds into this investment then I would best say for them to speak with a financial planner as there maybe tax considerations to consider
