I’m talking small amounts here, like $10, $50 etc
I think I’ve been lucky previously as my banks (Commbank & ING) have been basically instant with transfers to other banks. I’m now with BankWest and find they take a lot longer for transfers to happen.
This makes it tricky when I’m at the supermarket and I can’t quickly transfer extra money from my offset account to another bank account.
I can’t find information anywhere on how the banks vary. I might not have chosen these banks if I knew. I curious how fast/slow the other banks are and if Commbank & ING are outliers in their speed
Hot tip,
Use email address or phone numbers attached to accounts to make transfers.
The majors will have a way to set this up on their internet banking portal.
The issue with using bsb and account, is that it can revert back to the old banking transfer process and this is where headaches happen.
