Can items purchased by redeeming credit card points be claimed as tax deductible?

Post Body

I've purchased some electronics for work by redeeming credit card points. There is no invoice (only a delivery docket).

The item is under $300, so ATO doesn't need a receipt. But, I didn't pay for this using money so not sure if it can be claimed.

Edit:

  1. This will be my only work related expense, so the total work related expenses are less than $300. https://www.ato.gov.au/individuals/income-deductions-offsets-and-records/records-you-need-to-keep/#Recordkeepingexceptions

  2. u/bornadecadetoolate provided this ATO community link where ATO cannot confirm either way.
