Any other fire fighters on here ? Looking for second job ideas.

Just got offered employment as a professional firefighter. I am absolutely stoked and have worked my ass off for years to get offered the position.
My concern though is the pay cut during recruits , I am going from a 100 k to 58 k over the next 20 weeks, The shifts are 4 on 4 off - was wondering if anyone else here on a similar shift roster was doing a second job on their days off and what that job was ?
