Hey lads, my electrical licence (QLD) has come up for renewal for the first time and Ive just got some questions for anyone who has done it before.
I've been traveling overseas for two years and I get back in October, I would renew it now but it requires a valid cpr/lvr cert, proof I work in the industry and I also have none of my standards overseas with me.
-How intense is the course, could I do it without books (I assume not and don't like the idea of doing it with digital standards on a phone) -can you do it without providing the cprlvr licence, its more like, if they check with you and you don't have one, you're in trouble. -if I let the licence lapse for about 4months until I get back home, does that affect anything? -how can I prove I work in the field when.... I don't work in the field and can't until I get my licence renewed and go back to work when I get home? I plan to be a sparky again. - How quick do they send out a licence or is it a instant digital one and the physical one just takes a few weeks to get to you but technically you have a licence already?
Thanks heaps!! Just curious if I really need to get on this asap before it expires or if it's just easier to wait until I'm home with my books and a cpr and job etc
