Indeed has options to advertise for free and access all of the candidate management software they provide.
- Automatic rejection settings.
- Deal breaker questions.
- Requirements.
- Applicant skill checks.
The option to use this for free is obviously the biggest winning point but all in all the service is great and the support team are also very prompt in helping with issues or questions etc.
What about the main competitors?
Gumtree is free but gives low quality applicants and often many spam messages along with your advertisement.
Seek is overpriced for most purposes and doesnโt offer anything particularly unique besides user interface and brand recognition. It does have the highest quality applicants.
Jora is the site I have least used so I have no great insight here. If anybody recommends them as the best I will give them a try myself.
Our business uses indeed and gumtree to cast a wide net for free when hiring staff and we use solely indeed with paid advertising when we have a position we want filled ASAP.
