Husband got a job offer in Aurora (we’re in TX-Houston area) and we’re debating if he should accept it. Internet is great for research but I’d like to hear from people who live there. We have only visited Denver/surrounding areas briefly.

I lurked around and it seems some people think whole place is crime riddled and others love it?

Anyway, on what salary would you say a family of 3 can comfortably live there?

What areas/schools are good (Kid is currently in 7th grade) in or around Aurora within reasonable driving distance?

My child enjoys going outside after school and running around neighborhood on her bike with her friend. Is that a thing there? Area safe/family friendly enough for that? (We lived in Los Angeles prior to TX so I recognize it’s not a option everywhere lol)

If you are a transplant to Denver/Aurora, what do you wish you knew before your move there?
