Summary: You were walking through a forest in the middle of the night which you thought would be a convenient shortcut to home after a late night party. What you didn't expect was an encounter with a stranger who didn't seem to leave you alone. After a few minutes when they just wouldn't stop following you, you started running and in the middle of the chase you found out that the stranger was a vampire thirsty for blood, and that this really could be the last time you get to breathe.

[Forest ambience]

[Footsteps start]

[You are walking through a forest and despite being a little tipsy, the dark night kind of scares you. The low whistle of the wind, rustle of the leaves, voices of random animals in the forest giving out the creepiest vibes while you find a way to your home.]

[While you were trying not to get creeped out by the spooky atmosphere of the forest, you hear a branch crack behind you.]

[Footsteps stop]

Stranger: Oh sorry! I didn't mean to scare you. I was just curious about why someone would walk through the forest at this time of the night.

(Pause)

Stranger: Oh, you were told there was a shortcut to your home through this route? Alright if you say so.

(Pause)

Stranger: No nothing, it's just that this might be the wrong way because I know this forest better and I'm pretty sure this way does not lead to any residential areas of the town.

(Pause)

Stranger: Hey don't worry. If you don't mind I would like to show you the right way. Only if you're comfortable...

(Pause)

Stranger: Alright. Follow me.

[You follow the man while he takes a few turns around the woods]

Stranger: So... What were you doing here so late at night?

(Pause)

Stranger: oooh~ a party! Did you have fun?

(Pause)

Stranger: Come on don't be shy, tell me what you did.

(Pause)

Stranger: Why are you stuttering so much? I'm not gonna eat you, all I asked was if you had fun at the party.

(Pause)

Stranger: Okay what? So I'm not even allowed to ask you such things? Geez chill out it's not that big a deal.

(Pause)

Stranger: Did you drink though? At the party?

(Pause)

Stranger: I wanna know because I am curious. Everyone drinks at a party right? Are you one of them?

(Pause)

Stranger: I have got to say you are pretty rude for such a small person (chuckles)

(Pause)

Stranger: Hey! Where are you going? That is not the right way! You told me I could show you the route why are you suddenly so negligent?

(Pause)

Stranger: Stop following you? I will if you tell me what your problem is! You are drunk! Anyone in this dense forest could take advantage of that. You know there's wild animals in here right? Bears, Tigers, cheetahs, you could be a pretty great treat for them.

[You start running through the forest when you realise that the man won't leave you alone and has probably got some ulterior motives]

Stranger: Why are you running so fast? Hey! I'm having a hard time catching up! Slow down!

[You hear a swift sound and before you know, the man is standing right in front of you. His eyes blood red, his nose flaring with rage, his canines sharper than a knife and his whole face resembling a merciless monster with a only one thing on his mind, his prey.]

Stranger: Stop shouting or I'll cut your head off with my teeth.

(Pause)

Stranger: You were right. I wasn't here to give you directions. I was taking you to my home. Before the bears could devour you, I wanted to taste every ounce of blood in that hot body of yours.

(Pause)

Stranger: You're scared. Fuck I love it when my prey is scared. The adrenaline, it tastes so fucking good. I'm in the mood for a delicious hunt.

[Stranger leaves your arm and steps back]

Stranger: Go on. Run. Run before I drain you of your blood. Now!

[You start running through the forest, trying to get away from him and as far as possible. Your legs have given up because of the alcohol and the fatigue but it's like you are a robot right now because if you stop, you probably won't ever be able to run again.]

Stranger: (Distant voice) That's it love. Run as far as you can. But remember, the moment I have you in my hands, I'm not letting you go.

[You keep running as his voice echoes through the forest and he throws harsh threats at you.]

Stranger: You know what I have planned for you? First I'm going to taste your soft skin with my tongue, swirling it on your sensitive neck to make it nice and moist. And when it gets soft enough, I am going to pierce your skin with my teeth and suck all of your sweet blood until I am so high on it, I can't make a difference of what's flesh and what's blood. And trust me love, once I start, it is going to be unimaginably hard for me to stop.

[You keep running and ignoring his threats even though his voice sent chills through your body.]

Stranger: That's it, keep running. Fuck I didn't know how much I missed hunting until you showed up. I have been locked up in my house for months so I finally decided to go out in the night and take a nice walk. And then you show up in that sweet little cocktail dress that exposes all the parts where I can feed from.

[You almost gave up and were about to stumble to the ground when you finally saw a hint of street light about a few metres away. You pick up your speed despite of not being able to feel your legs anymore.]

[For a good enough time you can't hear the stranger and the forest gets dangerously quiet. You thank God for being able to lose him and finding a safe place with people who could protect you from the monster.]

[Just when you were about to get a nice view of the civilisation you were about to discover, a cold hand falls on your shoulder and you freeze on your spot. It's not like you wanted to stop but somehow you can't seem to be able to move your hands or legs. You shiver and turn your head when your blood runs cold at the voice.]

Stranger: (Whispers) Gotcha!
