A Guide To Posting
Post Body

Hello hello!

Are you here for the first time and wondering how to post? Look no more!

Here’s some simple rules to follow.

Contents rules

  1. Only audio, request, audio-centric video, and meta posts are allowed on the subreddit.
  2. Be sure to give credit where credit is due and link to any sources in your post or in a comment.
  3. Ensure all posts are tagged accordingly.
  4. Audio must be performed by yourself or a consenting partner. You have to tag them in the post or in a comment (using /u/) so we can congratulate the both of you!
  5. No NSFW posts will be permitted. Our subreddit is PG-13: a bit of innuendo is ok, but erotic and explicit content do not belong here.
  6. No links to audios/videos that you do not own.

Hosting rules

Audiocandy is an audio-centric subreddit, so please use audio hosts (like Soundgasm, Dbree, Chirbit, Clyp, SoundCloud ).
If you’re posting a video, you need to post an audio-only alternative in the post or in a comment using one audio host.

Posting rules

Tagging gender

  • [M] - Male poster
  • [F] - Female poster
  • [M4F] - Male poster for Female audience
  • [F4M] - Female poster for Male audience
  • [M4M] - Male poster for Male audience
  • [F4F] - Female poster for Female audience
  • [M4A] - Male poster for Anyone
  • [F4A] - Female poster for Anyone
  • [A4M] - Anyone for Male audience
  • [A4F] - Anyone for Female audience
  • [A4A] - Anyone for Anyone

In case of a collaboration, please indicate so in the tag (i.e. MM4A (2 male posters for anyone), MF4A (1 male poster and 1 female poster)...).
For trans posters, feel free to use whichever tag applies, but using [TF] or [TM] is perfectly fine too!

Tagging Content

Your post needs to be tagged according to its content. Depending on your content, some tags might be compulsory:

  • [Script Offer]
  • [Script Fill]: Proper credit to the author of the script should be given by linking to their original post in the body of your own post or in a comment.
  • [Questionnaire]
  • [Ramble]
  • [Request]
  • [Request Fill]
  • [Music]
  • [Verification]
  • [Collab]: An audio with several performers. Proper credit must be given, and the proper gender tag (i.e. [MM4] [MF4] ) must be used.

Potentially triggering content must be tagged. Ex: [Abuse] or [TW: Abuse]

You are of course allowed to add additional tags describing your content so you can give an idea of what to expect to potential listeners.

Ever wonder how you get those fancy colored tags to show up on your posts? When you create a post you will need to add a title. You can either click on one of the options at the 'Submit A New Post' button or simply put your flair in brackets with the rest of your title.

X-posting

Posting the same audio to several subreddits? You can add the tag [X-post] to your title!

Any question? Please send a message to the moderators!

Have fun!
