So after people requested more of my previous science ramble, I figured I'd make a follow up and talk about something a little less specific: cells and proteins. Important stuff, people! In this audio, you can't sleep. I ask if there's anything I can do to help, and you say that you'd like me to tell you more about science. I'm pleasantly surprised and eagerly agree, proceeding to give you an overview of cells: what they are, how they work. I talk about genes, proteins, organelles (including the infamous mitochondria, powerhouse of the cell) and a little bit about genetic diseases and vitamin deficiencies and how they can affect things on a cellular level. It sounds complex, but I try to keep things fairly simple and cover the broad concepts and explain things with analogies. Hopefully it's accessible and enjoyable, though if you're intending to fall asleep, it probably isn't that important whether you understand it or not. I'm relaxed and soothing, but also passionate and I try not to be boring about it, though I suppose that's in the eye of the beholder. After the science talk comes to a close, I suggest we cuddle up and fall asleep together.
I hope you enjoy this audio and that it can be comforting, entertaining and perhaps educational. If you enjoyed it, I'd love for you to leave me a comment or private message letting me know what you thought! If you'd like to hear more of my audios, you can find them on my subreddit /r/msa_andeh.
