So a long time ago I came across this TV ad for Lacoste. I thought it was a pretty amazing way to capture the feelings of uncertainty in a budding relationship and it stuck around in my head until I could get it on paper in poetry form. The primary difference is that instead of the first kiss, my version focuses on the first time the L-bomb is spoken. I actually wrote this way back in September but just got around to performing it (and editing it! damn!) today.
