Good evening everyone! I am new to the audi world and was hoping for a few pointers in my car buying adventure! I currently own a 2007 Volvo S80 3.2l with navigation and dynaudio that I have put almost 225k miles on. I will admit, I currently drive about 20k miles a year just for work, so having both of my vehicles over 220k miles is kinda unsettling at times. However, I plan on keeping the volvo as a daily and getting the A6 as my fun weekend car alongside my truck. I'm looking in the 2014-2017 year range with a budget of about $20kish. I will say I'm no stranger to working on temperamental cars with a lot of weird/one off tooling necessary ( thank you volvo for breaking me in 😅). From what I've gathered so far for the cars is making sure it had a regular ish maintenance done for the first 75k miles or so (I'm planning on getting into a car with 75-90k miles on it) and that the 3.0t engines are pretty much bullet proof along with the ZF8 transmission. What are some other things I should pay attention to on these cars when purchasing them? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
