Found a 2021 Q5 Quattro 45 Komfort with Conv package for $33k CAD plus whatever taxes and fees I need to pay at serviceOntario. While it doesn't have all tech but what it has is sufficient like side assist, parking sensors, apple car play, approach lights. Still has few months of warranty left, clean carfax, second owner. Is it a good deal? I looked at the QX50, Acura RDX and the NX300. The NX300 was the smallest and most expensive for a 2021 with Fsport 3 with 39k miles at $45k ($39k tax), the QX50 felt quite similar to Q5 with the lighter steering wheel but the CVT is a bit vague can't feel the shift like the Q5, 2022 with 50k kms Pure trim was $39k but seems like infinities are rush buckets compared to other brand there was noticeably 10x more rust. The 2021 RDX premium elite 39k miles comes with CPO warranty 7 years/160kms and is $43k ($37.5 tax). The RDX didn't feel that sporty even with the Sport mode and few things I did not like the whole buttons for the shifter, the trackpad for the controlling the head unit and the lower resolution of the 360 cameras. But I did liked the ELS premium audio, interior space, the hud display. I don't know if I am partial I did like the Q5 even though it didn't feel as quick but it felt very smooth and steering is very light. Perhaps the same reason I had bought a A4 new back in 2019 which I had to sell due to moving for US to Canada few months back. If I buy the Audi sure I will be missing out on all the tech but I will save about 5k-8k out of the door which I am thinking I will keep aside for maintenance and repairs since it is going to be out of warranty in few months, what do you guys think the base Q5 or the fully loaded RDX for $5k more?
