Doubts about commorbidities
Post Body

Hi!

I'm late diagnosed auDHD and I've always had health issues before this diagnosis. I have Hashimoto's and PMDD but something tells me that it doesn't explain all the symptoms I have (listed below), but they also don't seem to fit the intensity of diagnosis like EDS, POTS or dysautonomia and I've been trying to find clues to what it could be mainly because I'd like to be able to prevent further consequences than the damage I've already suffered from going so long without a neurodivergency diagnosis and support.

My daily physical symptoms are:

  • constant fatigue
  • muscle/joint pain
  • chronic back/hip pain
  • weird reactions to simple conditions (colds take weeks to go away, one UTI was enough for me to develop chronic pain), medications (antibiotics take longer to work) and therapies (physical therapy is weird on me)
  • trouble swallowing (constant feeling of mucus in throat)
  • slightly higher heart rate
  • easily out of breath
  • as soon as it is slightly hot outside I feel weak all the time, dizzy when standing up and get blood pooling in my feet/legs
  • bruise easily

If anyone has any hint about this list or medical specialty I should pursue it would be a great help

Thank you!
