AuDHD friendly date ideas to put on a bucket list?

Post Body

Hi! I just had a fun idea about making a date bucket list. Me (f35) and my AuDHD boyfriend (m31) has had a rough patch during the last 6 months. We have lived together for 3 years, and our main problem is that we're so different when it comes to how we want to connect and how much time we want to spend together. We've had huge arguments over this and it's mostly me who has been hurt and felt like he isn't interested in me as a person.

He's very restless and doesn't enjoy just having a conversation with me, while I'm a big talker and I love having long deep conversations (where mostly I talk haha) and he often wants to leave to go and play video games all of a sudden during a meaningful conversation. He often prefers watching tv with me and maybe talking during, but I'm so bored of binge watching tv shows and I get restless and don't pay attention. And the conversations we have while watching tv aren't deep enough for me, since it's usually just comments about what we're watching and he usually wants to leave quickly after 1-2 episode which makes it even more pointless for me.

But otherwise I think our relationship works well because we understand each other, and in other areas we are more similar than different. So our daily routines usually works quite smoothly. We have a lot of fun together, but I just need more excitement and for us to spend a longer time together without him impulsively wanting to leave and play video games instead. We have talked a lot about our needs and we have agreed that we should do more activities outside our home that feels new and engaging for both of us. And that's why I just had the idea of creating a date bucket list 😁

What are some date ideas that are AuDHD friendly? Or do you have any other fun date ideas that you have enjoyed? We live near a big city (Stockholm, Sweden), so we can take a 20-minute train ride into the city (which we've barley done since the pandemic started). There's also a lot of nature in the area where we live so we should have a lot of options for different kinds if activities outside our home. We already have plans to visit a Japanese inspired spa and stay one night and I can't wait since I love hot baths and Japanese food. But after that trip I want to make plans for more fun things to do to avoid going back to only only watching tv together.
